Though I haven't talked about it yet on this blog, I have the great honor and privilege of being a recipe tester for Hannah Kaminsky. Translation: I get the inside scoop on all the recipes for her next book of vegan sweets. I get to bake tasty nibbles, eat them, and share them with friends. I also get to provide Hannah with feedback on the goods, thereby making a small but meaningful contribution to the success of her next book.
Seriously now, how cool is that?
This is the second recipe I've tested and it's a winner. What else would we expect from our sweet Hannah, right? It's a lovely cherry tart with a coconut macaroon crust. The taste is absolutely divine. In fact, I just may be having cherry tart for dinner.
Keep your eyes on this blog for more food porn and reports of wicked fun as I explore the culinary brilliance of Hannah Kaminsky.

:)
how is it that I've never seen your blog before? It's fun!
You got such a great picture of the cherry pie. I couldn't get it to work... I think the dark filling and the light crust was just confusing my camera. I actually think it looks even a little fancier with the springform pan than with the tart pan.
nice!
Jeni Treehugger - It's *so* amazing. I had the last piece for breakfast this morning. Oh, and I'm gettin' to your tag, I promise.
Allularpunk - Don't be jealous. Just keep your eyes on alert for open calls for cookbook testers. You'll see one eventually and you'll be a tester, too!
Jessy - Being a tester is fun. Challenging considering I'm trying to lose weight, but so so so fun.
Amey - I don't know why you've never seen my blog before but I'm glad you're here now! I didn't like my picture of the tart. I had issues, too. That was the best shot I got. I agree - the contrast of the cherries and the coconut really threw my camera for a loop. K, going to check your blog out now. Thanks for saying hello!
Great shot of the pie!! I made mine tonight and can't wait to try it out!
I think you tart looks even better than mine!
I'm happy to have you as a tester, an I'm glad that you're enjoying the job so far. :)
